System Requirements

The Service Program system requirements do not require you to spend a lot of money on upgrading all of your PC’s.  If you are currently using QuickBooks then you have the necessary requirements to operate The Service Program.  If you do not currently use QuickBooks then please refer to the below section for hardware and network requirements. For networks with less than 5 users

  • Windows 8, all editions including 64-bit, natively installed Operating System (See Office Requirements below)
  • Windows 7, all editions including 64-bit, natively installed Operating System (See Office Requirements below)
  • Windows 10, all editions including 64-bit, natively installed Operating System (See Office Requirements below)
  • Windows Server 2016, Windows Small Business Server 2011, Small Business Server 2
  • Windows Server 2016 R2, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2003 (SP2), including 64-bit, natively installed

Database Servers:

  • Windows: natively installed & Windows 8, Windows 7 or Vista (SP1) with UAC on, Windows Server 2011, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 – Terminal Server Config., Windows Server 2003 (SP2), and Windows Small Business Server 2008, Server 2016

- 2GB RAM
– Minimum 2GB of FREE hard drive space

For networks with more than 5 users

Mobile Requirements (iOS, Android, Tablet, Field Laptops etc)

The Mobile Solution option and Customer Portal website option are hosted on our servers. Add-on runs cross-platform mobile devices with an internet connection IOS (iPhone iPad), Android (phones or tablets), Blackberry or Windows phones, MAC or PC Laptop with an internet connection.  There is no App to download. If you can make a phone call, the Mobile Solution works!

QR Code reader for scanning and applying QR Codes Labels (2D bar code). You MUST HAVE our mobile solution as well.

On average it requires 1GB of storage for each of your techs per month depending on the size and quantity of the photos that they submit.

When running The Service Program and QuickBooks on a MAC Computer

To run The Service Program on a Mac you’ll need to first install Windows using either Bootcamp, Parallels or VMware Fusion. We recommend Parallels or VMware as these products allow you to run MacOS and Windows simultaneously. Please Note: You’ll need to purchase Microsoft Windows if you don’t already own a license. *QuickBooks for MAC is unsupported. The Service Program seamlessly is certified to work with QuickBooks online or Desktop (pro, premier or enterprise) only.
